CESET faculty are committed to accelerating global education opportunities in electrochemical science and engineering.
Several efforts are underway:
- development of UC Berkeley College of Chemistry professional program addressing workforce shortage in electrochemical technology
- expanding graduate coursework that drives electrochemical research at UCB and LBL
- development of industry internship program in electrochemical technology
- development and dissemination of undergraduate science and engineering electrochemistry curriculum
- establishment of UC Berkeley / LBNL electrochemistry alumni network
- establishment of CESET industry board
Many education resources are also currently available at our partner, the Oregon Center for Electrochemistry.
For example, complete fundamental electrochemistry and electrochemistry courses video lectures and daily work are available for free here: https://electrochemistry.uoregon.edu/education/electrochemistry-video-lectures/
These are good starting points for students without easy access to formal electrochemistry or electrochemical engineering coursework.
Preparatory materials for the upcoming Berkeley Summer Electrochemistry Academy can be found here.
